The Portugal´s president is against a left government

Aníbal Cavaco Silva (the Portugal´s head of state) belongs to a right-wing party and he is against forming a left government.

When elections were held in Portugal "CDS" party (Cavaco´s party) wons, but the left-wing parties obtained more seats.
The president order to form a right-wing government instead forming a government with the left-wing parties.
11 days after a motion of censure is made and they order to the government to resign.
Now the president have to try to remake the government with the left-wing parties but he is against that. So what will he do?

In my opinion he should admit that the Portuguese population want a change and he have to recognize the left parties have win now. There will be more opportunities.

Syrian refugees

Syrian refugees in Spain

As you know in Syria nowadays there are lots of wars and terrorism is increasing. Lot of people is dying and they have to escape from their houses and from their country! Sadly the European population feels superior to them and it costs us to help them. Fortunately the European Union said that every country should help them giving a refuge or some helps and commodities for them to live.

  • Germany is receiving 98,700 refugees
  • Sweden is receiving 64,700 refugees
  • France is receiving 6,700 refugees
  • United Kingdom is receiving 7,000 refugees
  • Denmark is receiving 11,300 refugees
  • Hungary is receiving 18,800 refugees
  • Spain is receiving 5,500 refugees
  • The Netherlands is receiving 14,100 refugees
  • Austria is receiving 18,600 refugees
  • Switzerland is receiving 8,300 refugees
  • Bulgaria is receiving 15,000 refugees

In my opinion we should help this poor people because their only "crime" was to have a diferent religion from these terrorists. I think this is a religious problem and that the jihadists are exaggerating every thing a lot and they would have been solved peacefully talking. But they prefer to kill...

In 2017 it will offer 91 work spaces in secondary education.

Some labor union such as: afapna, CCOO and UGT are against this law because they think that it not necesary to include  so much basque work spaces in Navarre because the average of navarre people who speak basque is not higher than the average who speaks spanish. So, what is that going to aport to people who don´t speak basque in navarre?

Also I-E thinks that the new law is an exaggeration  for the same reason i gave you above, it is not necesary to have that number of basque work spaces in navarre.

In my opinion this law is a silly law. Nearly the average of the people who speaks basque in navarre is less than 20% and they want to include the 70% of the new work spaces in basque language!! Please, what are they doing? this is the consequence of so many basque political parties in our government nowadays...

A 31 years old man dies in "La behobia"

2 people died in San Sebastián

The race "Behobia" in San Sebastián take place on the 8th November. It is a race in which lot of men and women older 18 run 20 kilometers around San Sebastián.
There are other modalities instead running for example the disabled people can participate in this race with his wheelchair and the people who want can do the route by skate.

These year there were a new route and some people said that it was more difficult to run.

These year´ s winners are Raquel Gómez and Carles Castillejo, they both do a very good mark.

But there are also bad news. A runner and a spectator dies during the race. The runner was 31 years old and he was from Berbinzana, he dies when he crossed the final line. All the doctors who are there try to reanimate him but they couldn´t do anything for saving his life.
Also a spectator dies in the race. We don´t really know why he dead, it was a quick death. The doctors had take the spectator to the hospital but there, he dead.

In my opinion this is a very sad new for everyone who run and for everyone who like this type of marathons. They weren´t the first ones who dies in this type of races but you know is sad to see people dying doing what they like.

3 drivers crucified in Paraguay

Three bus´s drivers had crucified themselves in Paraguay because they said that they were dimissed unjustly.
"Estiy aguantando pero me duele mucho" one said. He is receiving some medicines and calmants to endure the pain he is suffering in his wrists.

Last week other two drivers have crucified themselves too and one of it have sewed his mouth with wire. He have to eat liquid aliments with a straw.

This strike is taking place in front of the offices in which they worked in the Paraguayan capital, Asunción.

This workers think that this strike is working because last year another group of drivers did the same strike and they were readmitted in his jobs as drivers.

In my opinion they aren´t going to get anything from this strike. They are only going to get lot of pain in their bodies and maybe his own death... but who knows.

UNEMPLOYMENT INCREASE

The last month of October the level of unemployment in Spain have increased a lot. We have increased 82.327 new unemployed people in only one month!!!
But the work hasn't decreased in all areas, for example:

  • The education have increased with 110.312 more workers.
  •  Also the average in Social Security affiliation have increased with 31.652 people last month.
As we can see in the image, inSpain, there are more unemployed women than men.

Not in every community the unemployment have increase, there are also some communities in which the unemployment is decreasing; for example la Comunidad Valenciana has lost 6.890 unemployed people in only one month.
In Euskadi as well the unemployment has decreased with 823 people.

Cataluña is the community with more new unemployed people in Spain. It increase with 10.341 new people and also Andalucía have increased 10.579 unemployed people.

In my opinion there is a lot of unemployment in this country and lot of people with studies and good level without job, and i think that what we have to do is to retire at 60 instead at 65 years old so there will be more jobs for young people who need it more.

Los Edukadores

LOS EDUKADORES

For the last few classes we have been seeing a film called "Los Edukadores". This film is related to politics seen from two different points of view: the young people view and a rich adult point of view.

The film start when a young couple of friends entered in a rich house, but instead of stealing things they just change the positions of their furniture and they leave a note with some messages. When they finished, they went out of the rich house and went back to his house, so when the rich man returned  they saw everything changed and a note with a message. The main characters are: Peter, Jan and Jule. Peter and Jan (the boys) are the "Edukadores" at first but then Jule (the girl) enters too. In the past, Jule had a car accident with a rich man and he ask she for a lot of money to pay the car arrangements. Jule have to work harder to earn the enough money to pay that man and to pay her house. One day when she discovered the "Edukadores" she wanted to enter that rich man house and gave he a lection, but when they were inside, the man arrives and they have to capture he for not the policeman get noticed about them. They take the man to a small house in the mountain, and after some days talking with he and asking he several questions, they decided to take back home.

Young people point of view:
  • They wanted to be free and not to serve a government.
  • They thought that demonstrations are useless
  • They said that before doing something you have to admit the injustice
  • "We live in an state dictatorship"
Rich man adult point of view:
  • "We all live in a democracy"
  • "I could have more things than others because i worked harder"
  • "I thought the money gives freedom but now i know that sometimes the money makes me fell like inside jail"

I think this film is very good because explains how the society is in some countries and the differences in a rich life and a normal or poor life. I recommend everyone this film.
